We all want to help. We are born empathetic into this close-knit community, and that empathy drives us to care for and want to help one another. We want to help other adults, even strangers, and, so tenderly, our children.

What drives this desire? When isn’t it actually “helpful?” What could you do when a child says, “I need help,” for myriad reasons?
