Saying Goodbye

Life circumstances as such, two of our students had to depart for new adventures in a new city. We decided to throw them a little going away party, where everyone had the opportunity to wish them well. To our delight, pretty much every student had something positive to say. Mostly, “good luck”, and “we’ll miss you”. A few of the older students even asked them to be sure to “write letters” and “send pictures”. Everyone was eager to learn a little bit about where they were headed. It was absolutely amazing to see the humanity that came out of each and everyone of the well wishes. The moments left us inspired. Here’s one: one of our younger students, saying goodbye to her friend and mentor.
