State Accredited

The South Dakota Department of Education has approved The Baan Dek Montessori to be a state accredited non-public school, effective July 1, 2010. Essentially, this means that The Baan Dek Montessori will be licensed to teach Kindergarten, in so far as it adheres to the State rules and regulations as applicable to state accredited schools. The Association Montessori International primary course prepares Montessori teachers to teach children between the ages of two and a half and six years old.
