Safety Pins

Watch this short video, as Ms. Wood presents the safety pins dressing frame activity to a three year old student. They both persist, going back and forth, helping each other to discover how best to proceed.

There’s a rhythm to the movement, to the presentation, to knowing how the student needs help, and more importantly, when she needs help. Also note the exaggerated and very deliberate movements, which help slow things down, and emphasize the task. She did it!
